Motorists escape serious injury after N11 Waterside collision
The taxi allegedly bumped into the back of the truck, causing it to veer off the road and hit a wooded barrier.
Motorists are being encouraged to practice extreme caution while travelling this morning (April 17) as thick mist has greatly compromised visibility along the N11.
The warning comes after a truck and a mini-bus taxi collided in front of Waterside Wimpy earlier this morning.
According to sources at the scene, the taxi bumped into the truck, causing it to veer off the road and hit a wooded barrier.
Fortunately, none of the passengers were seriously injured. However, it’s believed that they were treated for minor injuries.
The exact cause of the collision is unclear at this stage and will remain subject to further investigations.
