Newcastle’s Richard Masemola bags 2024 outh African Gospel Recognition Awards
The gospel musician was nominated at the South African Gospel Recognition Awards, SAGRAs, in the category of the Best Gospel Jazz.
Thanks to those whose hearts are touched by his music, they overwhelmingly voted for him.
He attended the awards ceremony, which was held in East London, where he also performed his soul-touching song titled I’m Blessed.
He won the award and proudly brought it home to Newcastle.
Richard thanked all those (from around the country) who voted for him making him a winner in this prestigious national competition.
“I want to thank all those that voted for me. Thank you so much for helping me bring this award home to Newcastle. It represents the hard work of every artist in the Amajuba District.
“It also represents every artist all over South Africa who is working so hard to make it in the music industry. I encourage aspiring artists to work hard on their craft and not lose hope; it’s possible, and you will achieve more.”
