Multiple injuries in bus accident on N3

An early morning crash (January 6) involving a bus and truck nearby the Colenso off–ramp on the N3 has been cleared. The crash involving a truck and bus resulted in multiple casualties. Four passengers on the bus were critically injured and entrapped, and 10 others suffered moderate injuries with four with minor injuries.

All four entrapped patients have now been extricated and all patients have been transported to medical facilities for further treatment. The actual cause of the accident in unknown at this stage. Wet weather conditions are currently being experienced along most parts of the N3 Toll Route. N3TC appeals to road users to please heed warnings.
