Bosscat makes its debut in the Rafferty’s children’s book
Jane Rafferty launched her children's book at the Olive Manor guesthouse last week Saturday (May20).
The book launch for Bosscat, a children’s book co-written by her and her husband, neighborhood veterinarian Dr. Barry Rafferty, drew friends, family, and members of the community who braved the freezing morning weather.
The launch was held in the guesthouse’s magnificent gardens, which were decorated in a boho chic style and provided a lot of mouthwatering food and drinks to fend off the chilly early morning air.
Everyone who is familiar with the Ncandu clinic will immediately recognize the main character, Bosscat, as well as the other cats who live there.
With references to well-known local landmarks like Patterson Street, the book is not merely a children’s book but also a family endeavor that Newcastle can be proud of for years to come
Bosscat is available and can be bought exclusively at the Ncandu Clinic for R100.
