Wasbank farmer’s wife assaulted in attack
It is not yet clear if security officials and SAPS have any definite leads following the attack.
A farmer’s wife was assaulted when she was attacked by four men on the farm, Doornhof, in the Wasbank area this morning.
Aletta Potgieter suffered various injuries in the attack, a relative told the Courier. Her attackers made off with firearms and cash.
She was treated for her injuries and released.
Her husband, Jannie, was at church at the time of the attack.
Details remain sketchy at this stage but updates will be provided should these be received.
The Courier wishes Mrs Potgieter a speedy recovery.
