March 25-31: Marking Holy Week
Holy Week, the run-up to Easter, will be marked with various services:
March 25 from 18:00 at the NG Kerk in Strathmore Park; March 26 from 18:00 at the Methodist Church in Gladstone Street; March 27 from 18:00 at the Presbyterian Church in Beaconsfield Street; March 28 from 18:00 at St James Church in Gladstone Street; March 29 (Good Friday) at various churches; and the Easter Sunday sunrise service will be held at Dundee Golf Club from 06:00. All are welcome to join any or all of these services.
April 20: charity bowls day
TWK will be hosting a charity bowls day on April 20 for fund-raising, to be donated to the Dundee Safety Forum for cameras for the district. The format will be two bowlers and two non-bowlers or four non-bowlers, with an entrance fee of R600 per team. Lunches will be available: R40 for boerewors rolls and hotdogs for children at R20 each. April 27: Uelzen bazaar
The Salem Uelzen congregation members are hard at work planning their annual bazaar, which is to take place on Saturday, April 27.

May 11: Talana Museum vintage fashion show and Victorian afternoon tea
The board of trustees of Talana Museum invites you to host a table for eight to celebrate International Museum Day. There will be a fashion show showcasing garments for the museum collection from 18:00 to 19:00, with narration and interesting snippets and history of the items. The hostess will need to provide all tables with linen, flowers, crockery, cutlery milk, sugar, beverages and umbrellas for shade.
We require each host to sell six tickets at R150 each, You and your friends (assistants) are not required to pay. All proceeds from this event will go to the Talana Museum Trust Account.
Venue: lawns of Talana Museum.
