Massive Dundee train crash attracts huge crowd of onlookers

Transnet will have their hands full in clearing the line a section of which is bent and buckled.

There has been an extensive train crash this afternoon, Monday, near Watt Road adjacent to the livestock auction kraal.
It is not immediately clear what caused the train carrying coal to derail.

Transnet has been contacted for a response and this will be published once it has been received.

There were no immediate reports of injuries. Paramedics, a fire engine and SAPS are on the scene and a large crowd of onlookers has joined the fray.
