Dundee bowlers shine on the greens at District Fours Play-offs

The local bowlers put in a great performance against strong competition.

Dundee Bowling Club hosted the KZNCB Fours playoffs over the weekend, with 48 players from the district gracing Dundee’s greens.
The tournament was played in great spirits, with exceptional bowls on display.
In the ladies competition, the runners-up were Odette and her team from Richards Bay.
Barbara and her team from Ladysmith, playing out of The Nest Club, took the honours.
In the men’s competition, huge congratulations must go out to Jacques and his team from Dundee for taking the runner-up spot.
Well done, guys – Dundee Bowling Club is super proud of you!
Lifting the men’s trophy was Theuns Fraser and his team from The Nest, who never lost a game.

Hosting a tournament of such magnitude requires all hands on deck.
A massive thank you to the members of Dundee Bowling Club for once again putting on a fantastic display of how to host a tournament.
The Northern Zone Pairs will be played in Newcastle this coming weekend.
