Seven illegal immigrants appeared in the Dundee Magistrate’s Court following a police operation on Wilson Street.

Seven foreign nationals from various Southern African countries appeared briefly in the Dundee Magistrate’s Court on immigration-related charges.

The group was arrested during a police operation on Willson Street last week, and now faces charges relating to unlawful entry and residence in the country. The accused have applied for legal aid, and their bail applications are expected to be heard on July 18. Until then, they remain in custody.
