Torrential rains cause havoc along N11
Both drivers were fortunate enough to have escaped any injuries after the two heavy motor vehicles collided head-on.
Torrential rains have seemingly contributed to hazardous driving conditions today, Monday, March 8.
Two drivers narrowly escaped injuries after a fuel tanker and a truck collided at the Dannhauser intersection along the N11 just after 11:00.
The exact circumstances of the collision are unclear at this stage and will remain subject to further police investigation.
Local law enforcement, however, urges motorists to drive with extreme caution as wet weather is expected to persist for the remainder of the week.
