A terrifying incident unfolded in the Plaza yesterday (August 13) when a foreign national was attacked by a group of five men.
The assailants, known in the community as ‘paras’, allegedly targeted the man with the intention of stealing his money and cellphone. In a shocking display of violence, they even brandished a large kitchen knife.

Fortunately, the timely intervention of nearby businessmen prevented the situation from escalating further. They rushed to the scene, chasing the attackers away and ensuring the foreign national’s safety.
