Attempted murder case postponed

The duo will appear again in court next week

Accused of attempted murder, Msizi Mbhele and Nontobeko Portia Ngema (also known as Sindi) appeared in the Ladysmith Magistrate’s Court today (October 29) for their bail application.

The case was postponed until Tuesday next week (November 5).

It is alleged that Sindi planned to kill her 26-year-old son for inheritance money, hiring hit-men to go to his house and force him to drink drain cleaning acid. The plot failed and Sindi and her alleged accomplice, Mbhele, were arrested on Sunday, October 13.
