Accused appear in court on attempted murder charges

A woman is accused of trying to murder her son

A man and a woman appeared in the Ladysmith Magistrate’s Court today (October 22), facing attempted murder charges. The accused are Msizi Mbhele and Nontobeko Portia Ngema (also known as Sindi).

It is alleged that the two tried to kill Sindi’s son last weekend.

They were arrested in town on Sunday (October 20).

The case was postponed until October 29 and 30 for formal bail applications.
