Liquor truck found empty after hijacking near Nkandla

148 of 154 hijacked liquor crates found in bush near Nkandla.

A truck transporting 154 crates of liquor was hijacked while on the way from Ulundi to Nkandla. Police responded after being notified by the Babanango CSC.

The SAPS team started by searching for the truck with the help of Abe Jonstone from Zulutrack. The truck was later found abandoned along the R68 between Nkandla and Babanango, without any stock.
The team continued with the search, going into a bushy area, and 148 crates of booze were found hidden in the bushes. None of the criminals were found.
