Two men, aged 26 and 31, are expected to appear in the Ladysmith Magistrate’s Court on Monday (April 20). This follows an incident that took place yesterday (April 17) at the Oval Shopping Centre, where a man was beaten to death.

Police confirm ongoing investigation

Police spokesperson Warrant Officer Basheer Khan confirmed the case and said that two men were arrested for the murder of an unknown 35-year-old man.

It is alleged that the deceased attempted to steal from a store in the shopping centre. According to police, the deceased allegedly stabbed a security guard while the guard was trying to apprehend him.

Investigations into the matter are ongoing.
