Two people injured in N11 collision

The bakkie and trailer reportedly plunged down an embankment near Ingogo.

Two people are reported to have sustained moderate injuries, after the vehicle they were travelling in overturned on the N11 near Ingogo yesterday morning (August 24).

According to Jan-Henk van Vuuren of Magenta Medical Services, it is believed the vehicle was pulling a trailer with another vehicle on it. The driver appears to have lost control and veered off the road, before plunging down an embankment.

Paramedics arrived at the scene and found two people had sustained moderate injuries. Both patients were treated at the scene before being transported to hospital for further medical care.”

The exact cause of the collision is unclear at this stage and will remain subject to further investigations.
