St Dominics raises the curtain on talent

The school Supper Theatre showcased the skills of learners in various forms of media.

When the sound of drums and marimbas echoed through the school hall, it was just the beginning of what lay ahead at the St Dominics Newcastle Supper Theatre on Saturday evening (August 27).

The evening was centered on showcasing the skills of learners, from monologues in various languages to performances with voices and instruments, and a 40-minute play telling a humorous story of how good deeds are dying in the modern age.

Among the performances was Siphephelo Mabona showing off her talents with her guitar and voice, singing ‘Un-thinkable’ by Alicia Keys. Megan Vermeulen told an emotional story with her extraordinary ballet performance.
