Newcastle CPF to host Crime Awareness Campaign
November 5 – The Newcastle CPF, in collaboration with the Newcastle SAPS and the Newcastle Municipality, will host a fun Crime Awareness Campaign from 9:00 to 16:00 at the Newcastle Farmers Hall.
Entry is free, and interested entrepreneurs can reserve a stall for R200.
Guests can expect free self-defense demonstrations as well as jumping castles and other entertainment for the kids.

Newcastle Golf Club to host Annual Champion Golf Day
November 5 – The annual Sponsored Champion Golf Day will take place at the Newcastle Golf Club in the the formats of a Better Ball Alliance, Scramble Drive, Scores to Count on Par 3 and 5.
Registration is at 09:00 with shot gun starting at 10:00. Entrance will cost R250 per player and will included a goodie bag, cap, nine water holes, supper, prizes and the green fees.
Prizes up for grabs are as follows:
– Closest to Pin 5 – R5000
– Closest to Pin 14 – R3000
– Closest to Pin 8 – R2000
A formal prize giving will take place at The Pines Wedding and Conference Village at 17:30.
NOFTA to celebrate Week of the Aged
November 12 – Newcastle Organisation for the Aged (NOFTA) will celebrate Week of the Aged at the Nofta Service Centre at 7B Nightingale Street, Lennoxton from 18:00.
Members of the community are invited to participate in the celebrations with live music and entertainment galore!
Entry to the celebration will cost R120 per adult and R60 per child under 12-years-old and includes a delicious three-course meal

Nofta to embark on a six-day trip to Knysna
November 13 to November 18 – Nofta will travel to Knysna for six days, stopping in at destinations including Port Elizabeth, the Boardwalk Casino and Entertainment Center, Jefferies Bay, Storms River, Plettenberg Bay, Knysna Heads, the Waterfront, a boat ride on the Knysna Lagoon and a day at the beach.Non-Nofta members will pay R8100 per person sharing for the trip, while Nofta members will pay R6900.Five dinners and five breakfasts are included in the cost.

November 26 – Graceway Newcastle will host its annual Christmas market at the Majuba Lodge from 8:00 to 15:00.

St Dominics Newcastle and Bridge Church to host Carols by Candlelight
December 2 – St Dominics Newcastle together with Bridge Church will host its Carol by Candle Light at the Douthwaite Centre from 17:00.
Food trucks will be available from 17:00 and the Carols will take place from 18:00.
Guests in attendance are requested to bring non-perishable items as part of the events charity drive.
Evangelical Lutheran Church host annual Christmas market
December 3 – The Newcastle Evangelical church will host its annual Christmas Market at 15 Ouklip Avenue, Huttenheights.
