Tavern patrons preyed on
SAPS said patrons of taverns should ensure that they arrange safe transport home rather than walk under the influence.

Robbers are taking advantage from patrons who leave taverns late at night. Dundee SAPS confirmed two incidents this past week where people were ambushed and robbed of their cellphones. The first incident was around 11pm on March 10 in Dundee town, corner of Smith and Beaconsfield Streets, and the second, two hours later, after midnight on March 11 in Sibongile.
SAPS believe that the same perpetrator/s could be responsible for both robberies.
