Promoting body positivity through modeling career
Ayanda Nkosi who hails from the village of the Vaalkop area in ward 32 under the Alfred Duma local municipality has recently been crowned Miss Curvylicious SA 1st Runner up at the State Theatre in Pretoria (November 4).
She holds several titles under her name which include Miss Blooming 2nd Runner up and Popularity winner, Miss Bergvile 1st Runner up and Cultural Embassador.

“As a Curvy Model who has won Miss Curvylicious SA 1st Runner up, my main goal would be to continue promoting body positivity and self-acceptance. I want to use my platform to inspire others to love and embrace their bodies, regardless of societal standards. Additionally, I would like to collaborate with brands and organizations that align with my values. Through my work, I hope to break stereotypes and create a more inclusive space for all body types in the modeling industry” said Ayanda Nkosi.
Ayanda has also taken advantage of social media platforms to amplify her voice while connecting with like minded individual, through sharing her experiences, promoting body positivity and championing inclusivity and through this she has gained a supportive community which keeps her going.
