The South African National Blood Service’s (SANBS) ‘Donor for Life’ awards were held recently at the Royal Hotel.

Members of the public were awarded gifts from the SANBS as a token of appreciation for saving people’s lives.

Shavani Sewpaul (control manager for SANBS Northern KZN) welcomed all the guests and thanked the community for their contributions. Every pint can potentially give three people out there a second chance at life.

So make sure you clear your diary every once in a while and make your way to the Ladysmith Blood Donor Clinic at San Marco / Pick n Pay Centre to make your valuable donation.
