The South African National Blood Service (SANBS) is currently preparing for a special Mandela Day initiative. To honour former President Nelson Mandela’s legacy, the SANBS have extended their trading hours and are urging citizens to come forward and donate blood.

The Ladysmith Blood Donor Clinic at San Marco Centre will be open on Mandela Day (July 18) from 10:00 in the morning until 18:00.

By donating blood, you will be giving the gift of life to those in need. Your contribution will help patients in hospitals, accident victims and those undergoing surgery or treatment for life-threatening diseases.
