Night market evokes the goodwill of Christmas

A heart-warming initiative to shield the less fortunate from winter’s icy grip …Stucky Motors Group hosted a ‘Christmas in July’ night market on Friday, July 5, in support of Ncandu 86 Round Table’s annual Winter Knights campaign.
Evoking the feelings of goodwill, compassion and generosity associated with Christmas, event organisers called on residents to assist the Winter Knights bring warmth to those who desperately need it by making a donation of warm clothing, blankets, non-perishable foods or cash towards the campaign.
Crackling fires, twinkling Christmas trees and bright tinsel created a magical atmosphere for guests at the winter market to peruse the many stalls for indulgent treats, novelty items or everyday essentials.

Residents who still wish to make a contribution can do so. Drop-off boxes will be available at Stucky Motors Group Newcastle until the end of July.
