Strategy and a bit of luck at Rummikub Thursday

The residents enjoyed every moment, planning their moves and celebrating each successful play

Rummikub Thursday is held every week at Juana Maria Frail Aged Home and the most recent get-together saw not one but two teams playing.

It’s always a joy to see residents coming together for a bit of friendly competition and a lot of laughter.

For those who don’t know, Rummikub is a classic tile-based game that combines elements of rummy and mahjong. Players take turns forming sets and runs of numbered tiles, aiming to be the first to get rid of all their tiles.

The game keeps everyone sharp, as it requires both strategy and a dash of luck.
