Carolers share the true meaning of Christmas
Besides traditional hymns, performers also entertained guests with a few all-time favourite Christmas hits.
Carols by Candlelight organiser, Dustin Fergusson of Bridge Church, described the event as, “a heartfelt celebration that brings our community together in the warmth of the Christmas season.”
“Through the timeless beauty of carols and the glow of candlelight, we create a space where neighbours, friends, and families can connect, reflect, and share in the joy of the holidays,” said Fergusson.
Bridge Church hosted this year’s ‘Carols by Candlelight’ on Saturday, December 6, at Ferrum High School.

This year’s event included an evening market with an array of homemade meals and treats as well as novelty gifts for sale.
“This gathering is designed to inspire hope, foster unity, and remind us of the true meaning of Christmas,” Fergusson added. “Whether it’s the music, the fellowship, or the message of love and light, we invited everyone to join us for a night that celebrates the power of togetherness and the beauty of the season.”
