Potholes a cause for concern in Cemetery Street
Motorists say the road is an accident waiting to happen.
Concerns have been raised by motorists who use Cemetery Street, between Steadville and Illing Road.
There are large potholes in the road and as a result, traffic gets stuck near the abattoir, where the road is badly damaged in both lanes. The recent heavy rains have also caused damage to the road infrastructure.
According to concerned motorists, the road has been in a poor condition for quite some time.

“These potholes are not something new. The municipality would come and patch them, but it seems like there is something they are not doing right, because the potholes keep coming back after they are supposedly repaired. We appeal to the municipality to look at this road as a matter of urgency, before a serious accident happens,” said one unhappy motorist.
