Grace Market Day brings warmth to a chilly start to winter
The market offered something for everyone — from clothes, shoes, and books to toys, plants, and delicious treats.
The local community officially welcomed winter by attending the Grace Community Church Market Day on Saturday, May 31.
When the kids weren’t bouncing on the inflatable castles, they were enjoying tractor rides around the grounds.
Although attendance was lower than expected due to the Winter Festival, the community still showed up to support the church, which raises funds for a number of local causes.
“We managed to push through today because we need the funds to support causes such as the soup kitchen in Osizweni,” explained organizer Pastor Fritz Olivier.
He thanked all those who worked tirelessly to make the market day possible, as well as the community for their continued support.
