NJMPF promotes wellness with pensioners at Arbor Park
NJMPF hosted a Wellness Day at Arbor Park, offering health checks, aerobics, financial advice, and support for pensioners.
Beneficiaries of the KwaZulu-Natal Joint Municipal Pension/Provident Fund (NJMPF) enjoyed free health screenings, an active aerobics session, creative expression, and received important financial information at the organisation’s Wellness Day on Friday, August 15.
NJMPF spokesperson, Mbalenhle Ntuli, said the event hosted at the Arbor Park sports ground, was one of many being rolled out in KZN, which is intended for the organisation to show its appreciation to its pensioners while ensuring they are informed, empowered and well-cared for.

Among the stakeholders invited to engage with the pensioners, was the Department of Health, SASSA and financial advisors from various well-known institutions.
NJMPF CFO, Zinhle Ndlovu, and the organisation’s CEO, Bongi Mkhize, joined the pensioners during the aerobics session, handing out t-shirts and gifts to those who participated.
“The purpose of the Wellness Day was to promote communication, education and enhance the relationship between the Fund and its pensioners,” said Ntuli.
