Women from across town celebrated empowerment, resilience and joy at Esperanza Special Needs School’s vibrant Women’s Day event on August 24.

Dressed to impress and brimming with good spirits, women from across town gathered at Esperanza Special Needs School on August 24 for a vibrant Women’s Day celebration.

With the theme ‘Unzip the bag… release the baggage‘, principal, Jennifer Pillay, and her staff welcomed guests to an afternoon dedicated to honouring and empowering women.

Guest speakers Sarah Fergusson and Pria Patrick joined Pillay in sharing heartfelt personal stories about womanhood, encouraging women to embrace resilience, strength and self-worth.

The programme was alive with fun and energy, featuring lucky draws, dancing, modelling, and plenty more to keep the audience entertained.

The celebration, not only highlighted women’s achievements, but also created a space for laughter, connection and empowerment; making it a day to remember for all who attended.
