State Vet’s rabies campaign urges pet owners to vaccinate
Free rabies vaccinations will be offered across Newcastle as the State Veterinarian runs a week-long community campaign this month. Find out where you can take your animals here:
The State Veterinarian Office of the Amajuba District Department of Agriculture will host a rabies vaccination campaign in Newcastle this month.
Residents are urged to bring their pets for free rabies injections on the following dates and at the sites listed below:
Monday, November 10:
- Town Central: Corner of Hospital and Sutherland Streets – 09:00 to 17:00
- Arbor Park: Arbor Park Shopping Complex – 14:00 to 17:00
- Siyahlala-la: Street to street – 09:00 to 14:00
- Fairleigh: Fairleigh Hall – 14:00 to 17:00
Tuesday, November 11:
- Lennoxton: Lennoxton Library – 09:00 to 17:00
- Fernwood: Fernwood Shop – 14:00 to 17:00
- Paradise: Iscor Flats Shopping Centre (Asham Centre) – 14:00 to 17:00
Wednesday, November 12:
- Pioneer Park: Newcastle Swimming Pool parking area – 09:00 to 17:00
- Sunny Ridge: Play park, corner of Erica and Drakensberg Streets – 14:00 to 17:00
- Signal Hill: Pines Wedding and Conference Centre parking area – 14:00 to 17:00
Thursday, November 13:
- Barry Hertzog Park: Barry Hertzog Park Shopping Centre – 09:00 to 17:00
- Amajuba Park: Amajuba Shopping Centre – 14:00 to 17:00

Friday, November 14:

Saturday, November 15:
