November 26 – 28 – Onder the Suiderkruis
NG Suid-Oos Kerk invites the community to their magical ‘Onder die Suiderkruis’ evenings – three nights filled with festive lights, family fun and Christmas cheer. Gates open from 16:00 to 20:00. Entry fee is R20 per person. Stroll through beautifully lit pathways, enjoy the joyful atmosphere, and let the children experience the wonder of the festive season. A variety of food stalls will be available, and visitors can also browse Christmas shopping stalls for unique gifts and treats. November 30 – Cruisers MCC Toy Run
The spirit of giving is once again revving up as local bikers prepare for the annual Toy Run. Participants will gather at Vryheid Junction for a friendly meet-and-greet at 09:30, before setting off on a mass ride to the Vryheid MOTH Shellhole at 10:00. December 12 – SAVF Light Festival
Join the festive celebrations at the annual Light Festival hosted by SAVF Vryheid from 14:00 until late. Stalls are available for booking. Call 034 982 2220 or WhatsApp Marietjie on 071 8978 342.
