When will your grant be paid?

  • Older persons grant: Tuesday, 2 December 2025
  • Disability grant: Wednesday, 3 December 2025
  • Children’s grants: Thursday, 4 December 2025

How much will you be paid?

  • Old age: R2 315
  • War veterans: R2 335
  • Disability: R2 315
  • Care dependency: R2 315
  • Foster child: R1 250
  • Child support: R560
  • Grant-in-aid: R560
  • Social relief of distress (SRD): R370

Helpful tips to remember:

  • If a payment date falls on a weekend or public holiday, SASSA moves it to the next business day.
  • Make sure your bank details are correct and active.
  • If you have not received payment within two to three business days of your expected date, call 0800 60 10 11 or visit your nearest SASSA office.
  • Avoid long queues by collecting after the official date – your funds will still be available.
