Black Roundtable gathering celebrates leadership and community

Newcastle's The Black Roundtable event brought leaders together for an inspiring evening of insights, networking, and celebration.

Entrepreneurs, executives, and professionals traded their boardrooms and corporate wear for an evening of black-and-gold décor and live music at Zamambongi Guest House and Spa on November 22.

The Black Roundtable again hosted a warm, engaging, and distinctly vibrant event, bringing together accomplished individuals with a shared purpose: to learn from one another and to celebrate one another.

Speakers from various professions including, mental health, marketing, service delivery, funding, and business credit shared their insights and expertise.

Discussions flowed naturally throughout the evening, with spontaneous panel engagements driven by the audience’s enthusiasm and curiosity.

Against a backdrop of soulful music, excellent food, and a beautifully curated setting, the gathering became a memorable celebration of connection, knowledge, and community.

Co-founders of The Black Roundtable, Sanele Pnakeme Mdlalose and Thandeka Lerato Sibeko, along with their team, expressed deep gratitude to all speakers, sponsors, and partners whose contributions helped make the 2025 edition a standout success.

“Above all, we extend our deepest appreciation to our guests, your presence, engagement, and support are the true essence of this platform,” Mdlalose and Sibeko concluded.
