At Ted’s Engen they gather 

The air at Ted’s Engen was electric as the eager matric learners of 2025 flocked to get their results last night (January 12). The excitement erupted into cheers, laughter and joyous screams as the matriculants found out they had passed.

Schools in Uthukela District get 100% pass rate 

The Uthukela District had plenty to celebrate, with 14 schools achieving an outstanding 100% pass rate. Among them were local schools the Islamic Educational Centre (IEC), Steadville Secondary and Harvest High School.

Schools in and around Ladysmith 

Other local schools also delivered outstanding results. Ladysmith High School (LHS) impressed with a 96% pass rate, with Windsor Secondary following close behind at 95.7%, while Ladysmith Secondary (Lasec) achieved 93.7%. Not to be overlooked, Dr Joseph Shabalala Secondary School secured an admirable 90.3% pass rate.

It was a night filled with pride, joy and a true celebration of hard work paying off. This morning (January 13), the same excitement was at the schools as learners went to pick up their matric certificates.
