Valentine’s Market brings colour to The Paddadam

Valentine’s Market transforms The Paddadam into festive celebration.

The Paddadam was transformed into a festive sea of red, white and pink on Saturday as vendors and visitors gathered for a lively Valentine’s Market.

Stalls were creatively decorated to match the romantic theme, creating a cheerful atmosphere for market goers who browsed a wide variety of eats and treats, handmade goods and other unique products. A popular beer tent, accompanied by music, added to the relaxed and celebratory mood, with visitors lingering to enjoy the entertainment.

Young entrepreneurs claim top prize

The market also featured a friendly competition for the best Valentine’s-themed stall. The prize was awarded to two young entrepreneurs, Kushi Ramanund and Liezel Lombard, whose stall stood out for its festive décor and creative presentation.

Strong community turnout

The event drew a steady stream of visitors throughout the day, with many praising the vibrant atmosphere and the effort put in by stall holders to make the Valentine’s Market a memorable occasion.
