SANCO women give back at Walton Clinic
The Women’s Desk demonstrated their dedication to uplifting communities and making a meaningful difference.
Heartfelt visit to the community
The Women’s Desk of the South African National Civic Organisation (SANCO), in the Uthukela District, recently carried out a community outreach programme at Walton Clinic.
The visit formed part of the organisation’s ongoing commitment to supporting vulnerable members of the community, particularly children.
Bringing practical support
During the programme, members handed out breakfast, sanitary pads and school shoes to children at the clinic. These essential items were provided to help ease everyday challenges faced by families, and to promote dignity and confidence among young beneficiaries. The initiative focused not only on meeting immediate needs, but also reminding children that they are valued and supported.
Leadership behind the initiative
The outreach was organised by Phiwo Ndaba of SANCO Women’s Labour Desk. The main aim of the programme was to show love and support to those in need, especially children.
A message of care and solidarity
More than just a handover of goods, the visit reflected the spirit of compassion and unity within the community. Through this act of kindness, SANCO’s Women’s Desk demonstrated its dedication to uplifting communities and making a meaningful difference where it matters most.
