Section of N11 closed for a week

Motorists are advised to use alternate routes.

The public is advised that a section of the N11 (Section 2) will be temporarily closed for paving from today (March 3) to Tuesday, March 10.

Closure details:

From: Km 0+000 (R103 intersection)

To: Km 1+000 (Van Der Stel intersection)

Motorists are urged to plan ahead and make use of alternative routes.

Alternative route travelling out of town

Turn right at the intersection of the N11 (Lyell Street) and King Street.

Continue past the army camp on your left.

Turn left at the next intersection onto the R103. Carry on from there until you get to the N3.

Travelling to town from N3 side

After passing the RTI offices on your left, continue straight over the bridge.

At the T-junction, turn right into Harrismith Road.

Continue along Harrismith Road into town.
