St Chad’s community thanks municipality for water delivery

Residents of St Chad’s, Ward 27, visited the uThukela District Municipality offices today (April 22) to express appreciation for recent development of water infrastructure in their area.

Improved living conditions

“Community members thanked Mayor Inkosi NB Shabalala, noting that access to water has significantly improved their daily lives,” stated uThukela spokesperson Sindi Kubheka.

Call for more support

Residents requested additional JoJo tanks to assist areas that do not yet have water supply. In response, the mayor acknowledged the need to expand access to clean, safe water.

Commitment to ongoing delivery

Mayor Shabalala reaffirmed the municipality’s commitment to continuing water roll-outs, stressing the importance of working with communities to ensure sustainable development across the district.
