Chrizmie to represent Newcastle at Mini Model World 2026

This week marked a proud milestone for Newcastle’s own Miss Teen Universe South Africa, Chrizmie Mostert, who has left for Bogotá, Colombia, where she will represent both Newcastle and South Africa at the prestigious Mini Model World 2026 competition.
Over the past year, the Newcastle community has watched Chrizmie’s remarkable journey unfold.
From being crowned Miss Teen Universe South Africa to becoming a passionate advocate for children with learning disabilities and a dedicated Red Cross Society Ambassador, she has consistently demonstrated grace, determination and a commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Advocating for children who face learning challenges
At just 16 years old, Chrizmie has already achieved what many only dream of. Her commitment to raising awareness of ADHD, dyslexia, dyscalculia and other learning challenges has inspired countless young people and families across South Africa.
Through her platform, she has become a voice of hope, encouraging children to understand that their challenges do not define their potential.
Her humanitarian work as a Red Cross Society Ambassador further reflects her dedication to serving communities and supporting those in need.
Now she takes that message to the world!
The Mini Model World 2026 competition officially begins on Monday, June 8 (Bogotá time), bringing together talented young delegates from countries across the globe.
The event will culminate in the final crowning ceremony on June 14, where Chrizmie will compete for the prestigious international title.
