Blood donor clinic comes to De Francas

Every donor will receive a token of appreciation for their efforts.

Community members are encouraged to roll up their sleeves and help save lives at a mobile blood donor clinic that will be held at De Francas SuperSPAR on Monday (June 15) from 10:00 to 15:00.

The clinic provides donors with a convenient opportunity to make a life-changing contribution by donating blood. Every donation can help patients undergoing surgery, accident victims, mothers during childbirth, and individuals receiving treatment for serious illnesses.

“Blood supplies are always in demand, and regular donations are essential to ensure that hospitals and healthcare facilities have enough blood available when emergencies arise. By taking a few minutes out of their day, donors can make a significant difference in the lives of others.

As a token of appreciation, all qualifying donors who participate in the clinic will receive a special gift in recognition of their generosity and support,” said South African National Blood Service (SANBS) staff member Zikhona Lupondo.
