The Ladysmith Cancer Volunteers Committee, in partnership with the Cancer Association of South Africa (CANSA), is inviting cancer survivors, patients, caregivers, family members and supporters to attend Ladysmith Survivors Day today (August 1) at the ML Sultan School Hall.
An afternoon of hope
Starting at 14:00, the event aims to celebrate cancer survivors while offering encouragement, education and support to those currently on their cancer journey. The organisers hope to create a warm and welcoming space where the community can come together in hope and solidarity.
What to expect
The programme will include informative talks by medical professionals, inspirational stories from cancer survivors, blood pressure checks, wellness support, relaxing leg massages and goodie bags for cancer survivors.
Everyone is welcome
Whether you’re a survivor, patient, caregiver, family member or supporter, everyone is encouraged to attend this special community event.
