The recently formed Dundee Drama Club is inviting aspiring performers to audition for its end-of-year musical production, with opportunities available for children, teenagers and adults. Auditions are open to new performers and will be conducted via WhatsApp video submissions.

Existing Drama Club members have automatically been cast in the production, while newcomers are encouraged to register free of charge and showcase their talent.

Auditions now open

The club is looking for boys and girls aged 9 to 12 and 15 to 19, as well as men and women aged 24 to 28 and 34 to 38. Audition songs will be provided after free registration, and successful candidates will be contacted directly.

Rehearsals will take place on Fridays and Saturdays in Glencoe. A participation fee of R500 will apply to successful applicants. The fee may be paid in instalments until the end of November. The production promises to be another exciting showcase of local talent, with organisers encouraging anyone who enjoys singing, acting or performing to take part.
