Spring weather swings from rain to sunshine in Endumeni
From light rain and chilly temperatures to a possible 26°C – Endumeni's weather is set for another spring roller-coaster.
Endumeni residents can expect a wet and cool start to the weekend before temperatures climb sharply next week.
Spring appears to be taking its time in the Endumeni area, with constant rain and chilly conditions expected before warmer weather moves in.
By last night, over 50mm of rain was measured in the Dundee area.
Friday is expected to remain cool and damp, with light rain and temperatures reaching only around 12°C, while overnight temperatures could drop to about 9°C.
Saturday should see an improvement, although it will remain cool, with a high of around 16°C and a low of 11°C.
Then comes the big turnaround.
Sunday is forecast to be considerably warmer, with temperatures climbing to about 24°C, while Monday and Tuesday should remain pleasant, with highs of around 22°C and 23°C respectively.
The warm spell is expected to peak on Wednesday, when the mercury could reach approximately 26°C, before cooler conditions return on Thursday, with a forecast high of around 19°C.
For Endumeni residents, it looks like a typical early-spring mix – jackets and umbrellas for the weekend, followed by shorts and sunscreen once the sunshine returns.
As always, forecasts can change, particularly several days ahead, so residents planning outdoor activities should keep an eye on the latest updates.
