The Animal Anti-Cruelty League (AACL) is appealing to the community for donations of puppy food after running down to their last bag.

The organisation is currently caring for a lot of puppies and desperately needs more food to ensure they have enough to feed them.

How you can help

Community members who would like to donate a bag of puppy food can contact AACL kennel supervisor Elrize Els on 076 151 1784.

Donations can also be dropped off at the Gazette offices at 1 White Road.

Every bag donated will help the AACL provide food for the puppies in their care.
