Learners do their part for the environment

The pupils were not impressed by the amount of litter that had been thrown right outside the school

During a Natural Sciences lesson about litter and recycling, Mooi River Primary School learner Nkanyezi came up with an idea to clean up the school.

His dad Bhekithemba Ndlovu (from Economic, Tourism & Environmental Affairs) sponsored gloves and bags for every learner in Grade 7.

The children, accompanied by educator Luantia Pithamber, spent the Physical Education lesson walking around the school and picking up litter.
