Girl Guides put their thinking caps on

The Girl Guides made posters showing how they would ideally view equity in their lives

The Riverdale Girl Guides Movement Unit celebrated ‘World Thinking Day’ as part of the Estcourt District.

Members of the Estcourt District Girl Guides Movement Units / Schools gathered at the Forderville Hall for the occasion.

“It was amazing seeing the children showcasing their talents under the theme ‘Our World, Our Peaceful Future’. The Scout Movement honoured our invitation and made our day. Sinethemba Njoko had a slot in the programme, where she addressed us all on how the ‘International / World Zoom Thinking Day Meeting’ went. It was a great day indeed,” said guider Deborah Gamede.

The Riverdale Girl Guides Movement Unit also commemorated ‘World International Women Day’ under the theme ‘Embrace Equity’.

The Girl Guides made posters showing how they would ideally view equity in their lives. Sinethemba Njoko also graced this occasion with her presence as a guest speaker.
