Hamilton supports Food4Life

The food drive welcomed contributions from pupils across Grade R to 10

Hamilton School, with the support of its parents and pupils, has collected a variety of food items to donate to the Food4Life non-profit organisation.

Food4Life’s mission is to combat hunger through freshly-prepared, plant-based meals. With 24 branches nationwide, the local branch on average provides up to 500 meals to those in need.

“Each year, we seek a worthy cause to support, with Christmas in mind. This year, Food4Life is that cause and we are proud to contribute to their mission,” said school principal Bridget Painter.

Donations included rice, cooking oil, sugar beans, butter beans, soya chunks and dhall.
