
Sunlight provides Vitamin D that children need to grow strong and healthy bones, say the Acaciavale Primary School (APS) educators.
With this in mind, the Grade R learners played outside recently to soak up some Vitamin D from the sun.
In addition, outdoor play allows children the opportunity to use their creativity while developing their imagination; dexterity; and physical, cognitive and emotional strength.

It also encourages children to learn through trial and error, and about taking turns.
