The Ladysmith High School Expo Club had a successful year, with 30 learners selected to represent Uthukela District at the Regional Eskom Expo Science Fair. The learners showed off their projects and their hard work paid off, with numerous awards won.

Gold medal winners: Mahima Domun, Thando Mdlolo, Samkelo Gamede, Andiswa Ndimande, Zibusiso Hlatshwayo, Sphilokuhle Ndlovu, Asiphe Mdlolo and Sinazo Dladla.

Silver medal winners: Tasmiyah Khan, Thalalethu Mnisi, Lwandile Dlamini, Thandolwenkosi Zulu, Malibongwe Mkwanazi, Amahle Dlamini, Fanele Khanyile and Alaika Olla.

Bronze medal winners: Allouise van Loggerenberg, Unathi Mgaga, Yudeen Nankoo, Deepti Mahraj, Langa Magubane, Mndeni Kubheka, Okuhle Shabalala and Hope Msibi.

Highly Commended: Boitumelo Leutle, Saneliso Madondo, Kuhle Kubheka, Amahle Sishi, Odelia Soobramoney and Zekhethelo Malaza.
