Hamilton pupil wins silver medal in final round of Spelling Bee

Hamilton School is celebrating the outstanding achievement of pupil Abenathi Sithole, who claimed second place in the final round of the Alfred Duma/Ladysmith Library Mega Spelling Bee.
The prestigious final was held at the Civic Hall on Wednesday, September 9, where talented young spellers put their knowledge, confidence and spelling skills to the test.
Sithole rose to the occasion, securing an impressive second-place finish and bringing home a well-deserved silver medal.
His achievement has been met with immense pride by his family and the wider Hamilton community.
